Seniors vs Girls Christmas Lacrosse Match

Sunday 7 December saw a group of over 20 Seniors return to School for a special Christmas lacrosse match against the First XII team. Co-captained by two Seniors, it included old girls from the Class Of 1979 to 2009, as well as Senior and current member of staff Miss Bott. With a final score of 9-4 and not too many injuries or confusion over how lacrosse rules have changed over the years, it was a wonderful chance for Wycombe girls of all ages and year groups to bond over a shared passion. The match was very well attended by girls, parents, friends and dogs alike, and was followed by the Seniors' Carol Service festivities. A huge well done to Emma Oliver (Class of 2007) and Harriet Bick (Class of 2001) for co-captaining, the PE Department for all their help in organising, and all the players for their enthusiasm and energy. Watch this space for similar events in the future ('anyone for tennis?')
