Seniors' Carol Service 2014

On Sunday 7 December, following the Seniors' vs. First XII Lacrosse match, over 180 Seniors came back to School for the annual Seniors' Carol Service.

After enjoying an afternoon tea in Big School and a few trips to the School Shop, Seniors processed into the Chapel for a beautiful Service, with angelic contributions from the Chapel Choir, including many carols in Old English. The Charterhouse Carol was sung with particular joy and gusto this year (especially the last line)! Afterwards Seniors, joined by spouses, family and friends, gathered for mince pies and mulled wine back in Big School.

This year it was lovely to see so many different year groups and generations of Wycombe girls meeting each other and singing together, and in record numbers. The atmosphere was most warm, effusive and festive. We hope to welcome back just as many Seniors back next year, and wish a Merry Christmas to every one near and far!
