A special commemorative chapel service was held on Sunday 11 September to mark the School's 120th anniversary.
The Very Rev'd June Osborne, the first female dean in England, based at Salisbury Cathedral and her daughter, a Wycombe Abbey Senior, shared the lectern and gave an inspiring talk encouraging passion and determination. Drawing upon Dame Frances Dove's pioneering work, the girls were encouraged to fight for what they believe in.
The chapel choir was also joined by a contingent of male singers, including some parents, who sang a favourite hymn, Jerusalem.
After the service a cake was cut and enjoyed by all members of the School community.
The official anniversary of the opening of Wycombe Abbey is 23 September.
